Okay, the big bosses in my company decided to get me a going away present. They decided on a full suit for future interviews. I thought it was exciting. Today was the day we were to go shopping for it. I went with Patti, Burt’s Personal Assistant. She headed to Northpark and we went from there.
Well after we were done is when I became speechless. I realized she had just paid 800 dollars in one shopping trip all for me. Nice clothes. But oh my gosh, why in the world is $800 necessary. We could have bought some other less expensive equally nice clothes and have money left over. I still don’t know what to say. I’m weirded out. One outfit in my closet is worth more than all the other clothes I own. That is too scary. They are too rich.
